Barcelona is delicious

Alimentaria is a special event for gastromy lovers. Between 22 & 26 march, La Fira Gran Via will held the most important international food and beverages exhibition in Spain and one of the world’s leading events of this type.
A long list of associated activities makes Alimentaria an exhibition where there is always something to see and learn. Here you can see some examples:

BCNVanguardia
Alimentaria and her technical secretary in BCNVanguardia, gsr - produccions of gastronomy, have designed a radically new concept for 2010: "Experience". Total interactivity and interaction. A conference at which talks, live and in person, will be accompanied by eating, smelling, touching, feeling and enjoying. It will be an 'experience' for the six senses, something never before seen at a Spanish culinary trade show.
The chefs taking part in 'Experience' will include Ferran Adrià, Juan Mari Arzak, Martín Berasategui, Christian Escribà, Carles Gaig, Alberto Herraiz, Belarmino Iglesias, Nando Jubany, Hideki Matsuhisa, Albert Raurich, Roberto Ruiz, Marcelo Tejedor, Sergio Torres and Javier Torres.

Intervin
Alimentaria’s great wine cellar. But It should not be forgotten that Intervin is about much more than wines and cavas. A complete range of spirits, such as different types of rum, vodka, whisky, tequila and other alcoholic beverages, will make up the offerings at Alimentaria’s largest show, with 24,000 m2. Companies such as Freixenet, Codorniu, Miguel Torres, Juvé i Camps, Dinastía Vivanco, Osborne, González Byass, Protos, Felix Solis and Julian Chivite, among others, have already confirmed their attendance.

Vinorum
Vinorum is Intervin’s educational and tasting space, an international benchmark for learning, reflection and research involving wine. Top sommeliers, critics, experts and viticulturists are the stars of this conference.

Autonomous Communities Pavilion
The seventeen Spanish autonomous communities will be represented at Alimentaria 2010. It is a representative sample of the wealth of the Spanish food and beverage industry and its cuisine. Urban fashion in Barcelona

If you want to know what the new trends in design will be, how to revamp your marketing strategies, or learn about the most innovative projects in the fashion industry, you can’t afford to miss The Brandery. According with their website:

A business platform and a generator of trends. It is an outstanding communications tool for buyers, distributors, salespeople and creators.
Held in Barcelona, one of the most modern, cosmopolitan and trend-setting European capitals, The Brandery offers the best investment for getting access to the southern European market.
More than 100 brand will participate in this edition. Beside the parades and the exposition, there will be spaces to develop several activities related with the fashion world.

For example, if you are interested in this business, try "The Laundry", a place for discussion and thought that brings together fashion experts and professionals. Some of the big challenges facing the sector will be under discussion, such as the use of new technologies for marketing products and creating brand value, the usefulness of fashion catwalk shows, changes in consumer profiles and new business opportunities.

Or, if you are sporty kind, maybe you prefer "The Stadium", the sport and street sector at the fair, bringing together all the brands that specialise in high-adrenaline sports, urban culture and sport style. In this space there will be daily exhibitions by the top skateboard and BMX experts and an amazing exhibition of snowboards customized by the most well-known international tattoo artists.

The event will held in La Fira de Barcelona, from 27 to 30 January. Come to the fair and stay in Hotel Principal, we have a place for you.
